Drop Legs bring the party with their psychedelic blend of surf rock, hip hop and reggae. With dank bass lines setting up grooves they are the type of band that have fans going from a two step to a mosh before ending arm in arm singing along to feel good anthems. Hailing from Byron Bay, Australia, Drop Legs have built a core following of fans thanks to their energetic party-friendly shows. The last 12 months has seen them play venues and festivals across Europe, New Zealand and Australia including Boom Town (UK), Party In the Paddock, Falls Festival, Island vibes, Sound Splash (NZ), Paradiso (NL) and Madness (NL) as well as a sold out East Coast tour with Tones And I. In Australia, Drop Legs have supported bands such as Ocean Alley, The Bennies, Tones And I whilst overseas they’ve supported the likes of SOJA and The Beautiful Girls.
Gold Coast singer, rapper and producer, LEMAIRE, picked up a guitar for the first time at the age of 11. At 15, his band entered their first, local talent show, performing one song. Moments before stepping out on stage the band's singer became overwhelmed with nerves and dropped out, forcing a young LEMAIRE to try his luck singing for the first time. LEMAIRE began writing songs of his own shortly after, drawing from his eclectic range of influences - from early Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Jimi Hendrix, all the way to hip hop artists Dr Dre, Redman, Eminem and 50 Cent. The artist's 2020 release "Where's Up?(feat. Jay Orient & JK-47)", clearly demonstrated these influences, receiving praise from numerous Triple J presenters and fans in the local area. The track kick-started the Australia wide buzz around the name LEMAIRE, with fans eagerly awaiting his next move.
Kurilpa Reach are a contemporary roots 5-piece based in Brisbane’s inner-south suburb of West End. When approaching music, Kurilpa Reach have utilised their own interpretation of West End’s melting pot attitude, following in the footsteps of other genre-blending groups such as KOOII, Kingfisha and Laneous. Based on a strong rhythmic foundation of dub and reggae, Kurilpa Reach blends in blues, neo-soul and rock resulting in an eclectic sound difficult to pigeon-hole into a single sound or genre
